Experience Designer (UX/UI)

Location:
Cologne and/or Munich

Job Description:
As an Experience Designer at KAMANO, you will be responsible to create a fully user-centred digital experience. Your goal is to understand users needs and motivations by doing extensive ethnographic research. Based on that, you create concepts and ideas for our clients’ digital services or products that help to address both the users’ needs but also recognize potential business goals.
Ideally, you have both UX but also UI (visual design) skills but we are also open for candidates that focus on only one of the disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
– Qualitative and quantitative research (E.g. Interviews, Web Analytics, Personas, Customer Journeys)
– Assess platforms for usefulness, usability, visual design and content
– Conduct workshops with stakeholders
– Create mockups and prototypes and generate feedback from users
– Have a decent understanding of agile methodology and Design Thinking
– Create the visual design for brands and digital products

Project Manager

Location:
Cologne

Job Description:
As a Project Manager at KAMANO you will be responsible for the delivery of ongoing projects for a variety clients. You will be working alongside client services to manage multiple work streams, work will include the management and delivery of proposals, statements of work, budgets, timelines, functional specifications etc. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with KAMANO’s Strategy, Design, UX/UI and Development teams in order to deliver anything from leading social media strategies, web builds, mobile apps, digital campaigns, user experience projects and interactive experiences across touch points as well as infrastructure projects. This position involves occasional travel within Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
– Manage the client relationship around production, communicating authoritatively regarding technical and strategic issues and proposing approaches and solutions
– Work with the management team to define the scope of projects and work streams, producing detailed plans, budgets and specifications
– Ensure ideas are realistic and achievable and seek to find the best solution within time and budget
– Monitor campaign and project performance, timelines and budgets, and report on these regularly to the account management team
– Prepare functional specifications, in collaboration with all teams
– Your key responsibility is the excellent quality of our work

Job Requirements:

– Candidates should either have a minimum of 2-5 years experience (senior position), ideally in an environment of digital services and/or digital product/service development OR relevant internships in the aforementioned industries (junior position)
– Candidates should be fluent in German
– Excellent project management skills in an agile project environment, with entrepreneurial thinking and a grasp for identifying potentials on the client side
– Proven ability to add value internally and for clients, ensuring on time, on budget and on brief delivery
– Confident appearance and having fun communicating with clients, partners and colleagues
– Experience of managing remote resources and teams
– A secure handling with software like Excel, Powerpoint, Confluence and Jira

Account Manager

Location:

Job Description:

As an Account Manager at KAMANO you will be developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. You will answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing and potential customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Project Management, Strategy, Design and Development departments as well as close collaboration with the agency’s founders) to improve the entire customer experience. This position involves a high amount of travel time within Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
– Serve as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts and the industries your specialized in
– Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
– Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to balance profitability and quality
– Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
– Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

Job Requirements:

– Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level

Frontend Developer

Location:
Cologne

Job Description:
As a Front-End Developer at KAMANO you will combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop new user-facing features
– Build reusable code and libraries for future use
– Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
– Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
– Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
– Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Backend Developer

Location:

Job Description:
As a Back-End Web Developer you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your coworkers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well.

– Building reusable code and libraries for future use
– Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability

– Design and implementation of data storage solutions

Full-Stack Developer

On the front-end, the full stack web developer uses a combination of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build everything a user sees and interacts with on a website. On the back-end they develop the application, server, and database that make up the foundational structure of a website. Their skills are often centered around solution stacks like LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) or MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS, Node.js) which contain all the technologies required to set up a complete website.

Team Assistant

As a Team Assistant you will support KAMANO’s busy team who works collaboratively from various locations in a multicultural environment. With varied personalities and requirements this role would suit a team assistant with recent experience within the digital industry. The team is looking for someone with a good sense of humor who is sociable and would welcome the chance to work in an international team:

Key Responsibilities:
– Dealing with travel booking and all related logistics
– Managing expenses and payables due
– Assist and support KAMANO’s teams in their daily tasks
– Excellent MS Office skills
– A good knowledge of Confluence would be preferred
– Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively whilst supporting multiple team members
– Excellent organization skills with a positive communication style
– Initiative and instinct when managing an ever changing workload
– Ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders in a kind and professional manner
