Senior Experience Designer (UX/UI)

Location:
Munich

Job Description:
As an Experience Designer at KAMANO, you will be responsible to create a fully user-centred digital experience. Your goal is to understand users needs and motivations by doing extensive ethnographic research. Based on that, you create concepts and ideas for our clients’ digital services or products that help to address both the users’ needs but also recognize potential business goals.
Ideally, you have both UX but also UI (visual design) skills but we are also open for candidates that focus on only one of the disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
– Qualitative and quantitative research (E.g. Interviews, Web Analytics, Personas, Customer Journeys)
– Assess platforms for usefulness, usability, visual design and content
– Conduct workshops with stakeholders
– Create mockups and prototypes and generate feedback from users
– Have a decent understanding of agile methodology and Design Thinking
– Create the visual design for brands and digital products

Job Requirements:

– Candidates must be able to demonstrate their thought process around user-centered design methods and techniques
– Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills, as well as verbal and written skills

Junior UI Designer

Location:
Cologne

Job Description:
As a Junior UI Designer at KAMANO, you will be responsible of creating captivating digital experiences. You will support the team across a wide range of projects. From research, to initial designs and prototyping, you will help us to create digital services or products that help to address both the users needs but also recognise potential business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
– Help with the production and delivery of assets
– Create and manage style guides to maintain a consistent look across platforms
– Create prototypes and click dummies to gain insight into our users needs
– Help shape the visual design for brands and digital products
– Translate user needs and business requirements into digital products

Job Requirements:
– To us it is more important what you did rather than what you studied
– You have acquired some experience working on digital products
– You have a good knowledge of Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator
– You have a portfolio with focus on digital projects
– You are interested in learning about users and their needs when designing digital experiences

Frontend Developer

Location:
Cologne

Job Description:
As a Front-End Developer at KAMANO you will combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop new user-facing features
– Build reusable code and libraries for future use
– Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
– Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
– Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
– Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Job Requirements:

– Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and other frontend skills
– Proficient understanding of agile software development
– Having worked in a dynamic, project-based environment
– Being able to switch context and focus on solutions rather than problems

– Experience in automated testing of applications
 

Backend Developer

Location:
Cologne

Job Description:
As a Back-End Web Developer you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your coworkers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well.

Key Responsibilities:
– Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developer with server side logic
– Building reusable code and libraries for future use
– Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
– Implementation of security and data protection
– Design and implementation of data storage solutions

Job Requirements:
– To us it is more important what you did rather than what you studied
– Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 and other frontend skills
– Good understanding of complex API integration issues
– User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
– Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
– Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
– Data migration, transformation, and scripting
– Setup and administration of backups
