The Project

Always digital. Always personal. German insurance company Allianz on the one hand runs thousands of local insurance offices - while at the same time clients expect to interact digitally with the services on offer.

Since the end of 2017, KAMANO - primarily through co-founder Philipp Vaerst - advised Allianz Germany with its digital transformation: Millions of car insurance clients are to have an even better digital experience in the future.

Digital car insurance Smart Pocket

The project resulted in the strongly digitally driven car insurance product "Smart Pocket", which clients could sign up to via a regular insurance agent or directly online.

The insurance is fully integrated into a new smartphone app.

Innovative sign up process

Via a completely new digital sign up process clients could instantly calculate their quote and, if needed, directly sign up for their new car insurance.

The sign up process ends via downloading the "Meine Allianz App" ("My Allianz App"). It consists of the contract as well as further practical features.

My Allianz App with accident assistant

During the project the already existing and very successful "Meine Allianz App" ("My Allianz App") was completely reinvented. The most innovative feature: The accident assistant that guided customers through the most important steps at the place of accident.

In addition clients could document the damage to their car within minutes and directly report it to Allianz. This could substantially reduce the time from accident to having your claims settlement.

Campaigns and marketing

For better addressing digitally saavy target groups a playful display ad campaign was developed.

The new Allianz style guide was animated and short videos were distributed via social media channels.
